Admission Procedure
TJIS welcomes enquiry from a parent(s) and guardian(s). A certain level of academic achievement is expected for admission to the school so that the child can cope with and enjoy his/her stay at The Jain International School.
The admissions will be available for the following levels: Nursery, KG I and KG II, Class I, II, III (Day Boarding Only)Class IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and XI (Both Day Boarding and Boarding)
Before any boy or girl can be considered for admission, parents are requested to submit the required documents and follow the admission procedure.*Boarding available for boys only
Criteria for admissions to different levels are as follows:
Nursery to Class – 1-Direct Admission
Class 2 to 3- General Aptitude test
Class 4 to 12-Entrance test
Aptitude/Entrance Test Once the application of the candidate has been submitted, the applicant will be required to undertake an Entrance Test of one hour's duration in curricular subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science based on the syllabus in the previous class to the grade in which he/she seeks admission. The syllabus for the Entrance Test is also available in the school office and can be collected along with the application form. There is no special preparation the applicant has to undergo before appearing for the Aptitude/ Entrance Tests. The Test can be taken on any working day at The Jain International School, Bilaspur. Selection is based strictly on the performance of the student in the Aptitude Test/Entrance Test and having a pass certificate of the previous class.
Provisional Admission
Selected candidates are given Provisional Admission if they fail to submit the necessary documents. In case a student is put on waiting list for admission, it does not carry with it a guarantee of Admission. Successful candidates will be given Admission only after completing the necessary formalities.
How To Apply?
Admission will be based on the information provided in the application form as well as on the performance of students in the Aptitude/Entrance tests (As Applicable). The Application form for admission should be submitted at the School Office duly filled up along with the relevant documents.
Documents required for Day Boarders:
Copy of the Birth Certificate (From Municipal Corporation only).
Copy of Marks Sheet of the last examination in the previous school.
Students for XI Standard should produce X Standard marks sheet issued by the respective Board along with Migration Certificate and Character/Conduct Certificate.
Details of the Local Guardian in a separate sheet of paper, indicating the name, relationship, address, telephone Number, FAX No and Email ID.
8 passport size photographs (color) with its negative.
Transfer Certificate/School leaving Certificate (in original) from the school in which the student last studied within 15 Days of his/her joining the school.
Documents required for Boarders:
Copy of the Birth Certificate (From Municipal Corporation only).
Copy of Marks Sheet of the last examination in the previous school.

Application Form
Kindly send the filled in application form to the school along with relevant documents and a Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- (Two Hundred and Fifty Rupees only) in favour of The Jain International School payable at Bilaspur.
Only completed application forms along with the Demand Draft will be considered for admissions.
