Continuous Comprehensive Assessment:
This scheme is a comprehensive assessment that is continuous and recognizes and respects learning outcomes from all possible sources. This is based on the belief that learning takes place all the time, within and without the classroom. It recognizes an ability to regulate oneself, exhibiting creativity, courage to initiate and attempts to better a performance as at least as important as the content of the formal academics.
Continuous comprehensive assessment caters to different learning styles and acknowledges different intelligences while aiming at assessing the holistic human individual.
CCA aims at assessing the concept and content, attitude, skills, leadership and capacity to innovate. Such a comprehensive evaluation demands appropriate tools to assess, document and provide necessary evidence to show the growth of a student.
