Siddhant Gupta studying in the 9th standard of The Jain International School represented the state of Chhattisgarh during the 14th National Children’s Science Congress held in Gangtok (Sikkim) in the last week of December. His Excellency Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam inaugurated the event. Apart from state-wise presentation by the junior scientists, many informative and entertaining programmes were organised for them. The group was also accompanied for Darjeeling outing. Teachers of the school, Mr. Amruth and Ms. Shubhada Joglekar, were behind the group as its directors and instructors for their presentation.The group of junior scientists from Bilaspur set out under the headship of the State Co-ordinator Mr. Anil Tiwari. This achievement of the school fetches glory not only to the school, but also for the state of Chhattisgarh as well.
