
TJIS Students selected for National School Sports Events
The extraordinary efforts of students, unwavering commitment of coaches and the excellent infrastructure of the school have begun to pay dividends with the selection of a sizable number of students of the school for the National Level Games. Many students from the school have represented the city of Bilaspur at the state level sports meet in various events. A few who have added feathers in the cap are:
- Nikita Kedia of Class VIII has been selected to represent the state at the National Level Table Tennis Meet to be held in Mizoram in December.
- Roshni Chopda, Ayshi Nayak and Kriti Mittal of Class are all set to represent CG at the National Vollyeball Tournament being organized at Pondicherry in December.
- Pritha Pradhan of Class VIII has would be playing for CG at the National level Badminton championship being organized in later December or early January 2008.
- Harshit Kaur Bagga of Class IX won silver medal playing for the CG Basket Ball team at the National Level Basket Ball Trounament held at Rajnandgaon in November. The CG team ended runners up after losing to Delhi team under 17 category.
